Do this for the solution. To avoid the time reset to 15 days is necessary to change permissions to the file C:WindowsSystem32zllictbl.dat, setting it as Read-Only. This can be done restarting the PC in safe mode after installing the new license. After this it will have about 65k days of license. Please comment if the torrent has any problems.
kool
Keygen works great. Thanx 4 the up
Keygen worked like a charm. Used it on an existing trial 8.0.020.000. Thanks!
Keygen works initially but reverts to trial period on next boot and update.
i have NIS 2008 with firewall. Can this work along with NIS?
I have a simular problem. The Key is accepted as being valid but does not write permenantly and the install reverts back to the 15 day trial on system reboot
yeah have the same....love the firewall though...but can't use it....it always goes back to trial after reboot...any help?
Don't know what the deal is but tried to reload the key in an existing install. Loaded a new install on a virtual machine that had previously used ZA7 and also and upgrade on a normal xp install. used the 6th, 9th and 14th keys..... same result. ZA accepts the key but after a reboot the program reverts to trial..... ?????
for user who the key reverted back. after use the new key go to C;\program data\checkpoint\zonealarm. there is 1 file over there. turn off zonalarm then change that file att to read only then restart your computer. hopefully it works.

Any chance you could upload 1 Click PC Fix vers 3.2 by Neurosoft ?

NoExcuses: I am a Vista user... tried to change
zllictbl.dat to read-only but I am not allowed to!
As advised I restarted the PC in safe mode after installing the new license in order to change permissions.
What else can I do? Tks.

May I add that I also tried to change permissions in DOS and was not allowed...

Well, I don't have Vista (tried out a couple of hours, and then ripped off to go back to XP) so I can't be sure about it, but I suppose that you need to be in a status where the blocks and limits of the OS can be overtaken. If starting the system in safe mode doesn't allow to change it, and from DOS you can access only FAT partitions and if I remember well Vista installs on NTFS only, maybe is necessary to try booting from a CD or USB system like WinPE, BartPE or ERD Commander to change it. Anyone with Vista here has been able to do it?
I've found around in internet a couple of little proggies that should do the trick for unlocking ZA for XP and Vista, but haven't had the way to test them, specially the one for Vista. I have uploaded them here on TPB, give them a try. Here is the link.

to all vista user who cant change the file that NoExcuses an BrainBugger mentioned, try this:
Vista incorporated aniother security to prevent any system file changes, in order to change that u need to be the "Owner" of the c: drive.
1. Rightclick ur C: drive, go to properties.
2. Go to the Security tab, click on advanced.
3.Go to the owner tab, click on change/modify
4. mark the Adminstrators, check the box below it, and press apply.
Vista should change all ownership to administrator, in the mean while u get several messages, ingore these and click them away. after its done restart your PC and follow the instructions given by NoExcuses and Brainbugger. Now u should be able to chage that little file

hey guys!
i just thought i'd tell you how i got my zonealarm working!
i actually didnt use this torrent and this version of ZA (i'm using ZA security suite 8), but i think this should work for you too...
oh, and i'm using vista!
1. i disconnected from the internet
2. i entered a lic-code using a keygen. it was successfully installed with 15k days of support
3. i re-started in safe mode
4. i changed the file "zllictbl.dat" in the 2 following locations:
c\program data\checkpoint\zonealarm
c:\windows\system32
here's what i did to them:
under right click-settings-security, i gave EVERY user EVERY right. then i applied these changes. i opened settings again, selected read only and applied. i opened settings again and gave EVERY user only the right to read the file. apply changes.
5. i re-booted.
6. voilá
i hope that helps some of you, and sorry if some of the terms, phrases,.... i used are wrong, but english aint my mother tongue ;)
greetings, g
